Scarlett Moffatt claims she was abducted by aliens and Sir Paul McCartney has been replaced

Scarlett Moffatt claims she was once abducted by aliens and thinks Sir Paul McCartney has been replaced with a lookalike.

The former Gogglebox star is launching her own podcast Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe, where she discusses her thoughts on a number of popular conspiracy theories.

And while promoting her new project on Loose Women, the 30-year-old shared some of her own beliefs.

Explaining how she’s convinced aliens visited her when she was just 10-years-old, the TV personality said: ‘A massive beam of light went into my bedroom window but then I had a dream, and I think they wanted me to think it was a dream, but I dreamt I was abducted by aliens.’

The panellists asked what her dad, Mark, made of her claims, seeing Scarlett reveal: ‘My middle name is Sigourney after Sigourney Weaver, my dad’s favourite movie was Alien, so he was really excited by that.’

The Loose Women stars then turned their attention to The Beatles legend, and quizzed their guest (who was video calling into the show) what her thoughts were on the idea he has been replaced.

‘Well I don’t know if he’s dead,’ Scarlett said. ‘But there’s a lot of evidence that he has been replaced, just by like a lookalike Paul McCartney.’

We’ve heard a lot of things, but even that’s a new one for us!

Talking about her podcast, the I’m A Celeb star said: ‘The thing is I wanted to do this podcast because everyone is stuck in their house and people don’t know what to talk about.

Sir Paul McCartney
She also believes Sir Paul McCartney has been replaced with a lookalike (Picture: Anthony Harvey/REX)

‘So I thought conspiracy themes would be a good one, it’s good and you can Google this stuff utill like 3am.’

We’ll definitely be going down a Sir Paul McCartney rabbit hole for sure.

Scarlett launched the podcast while in coronavirus lockdown with her boyfriend Scott Dobinson.

Just yesterday, Boris Johnson started to ease measures and told people to return to work if they couldn’t work from home, he’s also allowing Brits to have unlimited outdoor exercise from Wednesday.

As it stands, more than 31,000 people have died from Covid-19 while there are over 215,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK alone.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.

Stacey Solomon shuts down trolls who mock her teeth in the best way possible

Stacey Solomon is possibly the classiest shutter-downer of trolls in the world of celebs.

The mother-of-three stumbled upon a Twitter thread of online bullies cruelly mocking her teeth on Monday.

And she called them out, not with a tirade, but by… wishing them the best?

Levels of maturity we will never achieve.

The Loose Women star posted some screenshots of the nasty comments on her Instagram Stories, writing: ‘Casually went on Twitter and the Susans are out in full force.

She went on: ‘I think everyone on this thread just needs to smile.’

‘My goodness there’s some mean, miserable people out there. Never let anyone stop you from smiling,’ Stacey added.

‘In fact use them as an excuse to smile. And hopefully one day they’ll be nice enough to have something to smile about. Love you all.’

The 30-year-old added several videos of her beaming like there’s no tomorrow, to the tune of Nat King Cole’s Smile.

Bravo, Stacey, bravo!

The TV star’s post comes after she confirmed that she hasn’t split from Joe Swash, so everyone can just calm down.

The presenter had fans worried when she went off social media for a bit, citing ‘personal reasons’.

stacey solomon
She shared several clips of herself smiling (Picture: Instagram)

And when she returned to the ‘gram, Stacey cleared up the confusion with a sweet snap of them holding hands.

She wrote alongside it: ‘“Personal reasons” isn’t code for divorce (we aren’t married but you know what I mean) it just means some things are happening in our lives personally at the moment.

‘And some things aren’t mine to share. We love you all & hope you’re all ok. These are really strange, scary and emotional times and it’s not easy for anyone.

‘PS me and Hoe laughed so much trying to take this picture because our hands are so awkward. He wanted me to hide his nails too which was impossible.’

If anything, it seems like the couple are stronger than ever, with Stacey recently gushing that she’s so smitten with Joe and their baby son Rex that it makes her ‘heart hurt’.

Oh, you guys.

Paul McKenna reveals mind-blowing shoulder trick to relieve stress

Paul McKenna helped the Loose Women ease their stress today with an easy-to-do exercise that can help you calm down during coronavirus lockdown

The hypnotist joined Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha, Denise Welch and Brenda Edwards for an episode of the daytime talk-show today and helped the girls alleviate their stress.

Paul said that you can start the exercise by crossing both your arms over your shoulders and making a cross.

From there, you should gently start stroking your arms, keeping the X formation.

Whilst doing this, Paul said you should close your eyes and start repeating these words over and over again: ‘Safe. Peaceful. Hope. Calm.’

Continuing to do this, you should close your eyes and imagine yourself walking somewhere nice, such as a wood or a beach.

The Loose Women certainly seemed relaxed (Picture: ITV)

Paul said that this exercise ‘produces delta waves in the brain, which will make you feel more comfortable.’

He continued: ‘You can do this several times a day, that will reduce your stress levels, it’s a remedial technique and a way of maintaining your health maintenance.’

This isn’s the first time Paul has helped us relax during the lockdown – as he previously shared an easy 60-second exercise with Holly Willoughby to control her snacking.

Paul McKenna's exercise to bust stress

  1. Cross your arms over your shoulders, creating an x

The star had several tips for viewers at home to stop reaching for the chocolate and crisps when they have nothing better to do. Because let’s be honest, we don’t.

Paul’s tips included ‘If you’re hungry, go and eat,’ and he stressed that if you’re hungry, you should eat what you want, not what you think you should.

But he advised that the important thing is to eat consciously, meaning that when you’re eating, you focus on nothing but the food.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.

Loose Women’s Saira Khan boycotts Meghan and Harry’s book because they ‘abandoned’ British people, apparently

Loose Women’s Saira Khan is boycotting Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s book as she believes the couple have ‘abandoned’ the British public.

The presenter expressed on today’s programme that she’s not interested in buying a copy of Finding Freedom, the biography which proposes to tell the accurate version of Harry and Meghan’s life as modern royals.

‘When they got married, for me it was the first mixed marriage in the royal family, and I felt there was lots of hope and excitement, and then it got dark very quickly,’ Saira began.

‘That’s what really broke my heart and I felt they really abandoned the British people, so I’m not actually going to be very interested in what they’re doing.’

She added: ‘I do believe anybody in the public eye is up for scrutiny, not always for the right reasons or whatever.

‘They’ve left us, they’ve left the family, and for me, they’ve left this country and I’m not interested.’

Co-host Jane Moore added that she’d only read it if it was published for free in a paper.

‘They’ve pushed back against the British public so much,’ she said. ‘They’ve done that, “We don’t want you to do this. We only want to let you see our child when it suits us even though we’re part of this royal family.”‘

‘We’re still not going to get the real stories, are we?’ added Linda Robson.

Ruth Langsford, on the other hand, admitted she’s curious about the couple and will give the biography a read.

The Sussexes, who have moved to Los Angeles after stepping down as working royals, have been dogged by negative stories from some sections of the media, which has led to the couple refusing to engage with a number of British tabloids.

Last autumn Harry issued a statement accusing elements of the press of bullying his wife.

Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand

Scobie and Durand, whose book Finding Freedom is published this summer, said: ‘The aim of this book is to portray the real Harry and Meghan, a couple who continue to inspire many around the world through their humanitarian and charitable work but are often inaccurately portrayed.

‘Our mission has been motivated by a desire to tell an accurate version of their journey and finally present the truth of misreported stories that have become gospel simply because of the amount of times they have been repeated.

‘It is thanks to our sources that we have been able to share the definitive story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.’

The book has the full title Finding Freedom: Harry And Meghan And The Making of A Modern Royal Family, and will be published in August by Dey Street Books.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.

Peter Andre and Emily’s son Theo seen for first time as he invades dad’s Loose Women interview

Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Peter Andre and Emily MacDonagh might have done everything to keep their son Theo and daughter Amelia out of the limelight, but it looks like the little lad wants his own time in the limelight.

Fans were given their first ever glimpse of three-year-old Theo when the tot decided to walk into dad Peter’s interview with the Loose Women panel over video link.

Peter and Emily, who also share six-year-old Amelia, have never shared photos of their children’s faces on social media, so their fans were excited to finally see little Theo make his small screen appearance.

The Mysterious Girl singer had video called in to Loose Women from his home where he and his family have been self-isolating, when adorable Theo decided to gatecrash the interview.

Theo was seen clambering onto Pete’s lap before running away to continue playing, seemingly distracted by the cartoons on the TV in the background.

Peter also has two children, 14-year-old Junior and 12-year-old Princess with ex Katie Price, who are both regularly featured on their parents’ social media accounts as well as Katie’s My Crazy Life reality show.

However, Pete and Emily, who is a doctor in the NHS, decided not to post photos of their children when they were born, in order to maintain the privacy of the little ones.

While Emily has been battling the coronavirus pandemic at work, Peter has taken over home schooling their children while their schools are shut.

As well as talking about the family’s new routine, Peter also revealed that Emily spends 20 minutes disinfecting herself when she arrives home from work in order to prevent bringing the virus into the house.

He explained: ‘It’s only in the last few months that it’s become this intense because she’s a lot more exposed obviously.

‘She comes in, she takes off all her clothes, she has to put them in the washing machine, wrap a towel around her, go upstairs, have a shower and completely disinfect herself, it takes about 20-30 minutes.’

Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Peter Andre is ‘in the dog house’ with his wife Emily after showing his son’s face during a live TV interview.

The 47-year-old appeared on Loose Women via video call, which was ambushed by little Theo.

But, while he tried to cover the three-year-old’s face, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker couldn’t quite keep him off the camera as the tot demanded a hug.

And it appears his other half wasn’t too pleased with the situation, as he explained the fallout on Instagram.

Sharing an article that had covered the adorable moment, Pete wrote: ‘I’m sooo in the dog house. Hey accidents happen we are in lockdown….’

Fans were quick to back him up and commented: ‘Bless you, you tried to be fair, they could have cut you off the screen, as everyone aware of Emily’s wishes.’

‘You are trying so hard .. sometimes these things happen,’ another wrote, while someone else added: ‘You should of just got up and carried him out stuff loose women they would of understood they are fab.’

Peter two children with Emily, Amelia, six, and little Theo. He also shares Junior, 14, and Princess, 13, with his ex-wife Katie Price.

Sharing an insight into how their home life has changed during the coronavirus lockdown, the proud hubby spoke about Emily who is currently working on the front line as a junior NHS nurse.

He said: ‘We’ve got a good balance. Obviously, while she’s not here I hold the fort and I’ve realised I’m not a school teacher.

Peter Andre
Pete also has Junior and Princess (Picture: WireImage)

‘My respect for school teachers has gone through the roof and I can’t wait for them to get back.

‘When Emily is home, she is full-on – she wants to cook, bake, she’s a really good person. I’m a very lucky guy and I know that. When she’s there I say “why don’t you rest,” but she doesn’t want to.’

After her shift, Pete explained how Emily has to strip off and completely disinfect herself – which takes about 20 minutes every single day.

‘She’ll come home, I don’t tell the kids she’s home,’ he revealed. ‘She comes in, she takes off all of her clothes – it sounds great, but what happens is she has to put them in the washing machine, wrap a towel round her, have a shower, completely disinfect herself.’

‘Every time I say to her, “What’s it like?” – and this is why I respect her so much – all she ever talks about is people doing more.’

Loose Women continues weekdays at 12.30 on ITV.

Janet Street-Porter thinks that Vera Wang’s viral Instagram post is, well, quite ‘depressing,’ actually.

The columnist appeared on Loose Women today to discuss the pictures that had everyone aghast earlier this week, mainly because the 70-year-old fashion designer appears utterly ageless.

Asked about her opinion on the post, Janet admitted that she thought the pictures were ‘depressing,’ but also realised they were being used by the designer as a ‘marketing tool.’

‘We look the way we want to look,’ Janet said. ‘What looks good to someone looks like rubbish to somebody else.

‘Don’t get so hung up on age, I think it’s depressing.’

The 73-year-old continued: ‘It’s all a marketing exercise, that’s why she’s on Instagram.

‘She looks good. Personally, there’s no chance of my midriff looking like that, let’s be honest. Not on the current lockdown diet.’

After her post went viral, Wang – who has designed dresses for everyone from Mariah Carey to Kim Kardashian – shared her secrets to seeming eternal youth.

Confirming her age to the disbelievers, she revealed the tips she swears by for a direct line to the fountain of youth to be: ‘Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun…’

When another fan asked what she was drinking to look that good, she added: ‘Diet @CocaCola… typical of a NY fashion type.’

Acknowledging the thousands of comments about how great she looks, Vera added: ‘you guys are too funny. too kind. thank you for all the love.’

Stacey Solomon fears she’ll get social distancing wrong: ‘I’m scared to go anywhere’

Stacey Solomon revealed she’s been too ‘scared’ to leave the house due to social distancing rules amid the coronavirus lockdown.

The Loose Women panellists discussed Boris Johnson’s speech, and the ease of lockdown by allowing workers to return to the office.

However, this means more people in parks, on public transport and in public, which has left Stacey fearful about what to do.

‘I’m actually scared to go anywhere because I don’t know how to keep the social distancing etiquette,’ the star explained.

‘I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting a bit too comfortable in my own home and environment that actually it makes me fear going out and getting it wrong.’

‘It actually makes me nervous. I think sometimes it’s simple – stay two metres away from everybody – but actually it’s not as easy as that,’ the 30-year-old continued.

‘If you’re going down a narrow walk, you think, “Do I go first? Do I pause? Do I walk back?” If everyone’s on the beach, how do you stop children who don’t know what social distancing is?’

Stacey recently admitted on Instagram that the coronavirus pandemic has had her on the ‘brink of tears’ all the time.

The mum-of-three opened up on how she’s been found living in quarantine during the crisis and refreshingly admitted it’s been extremely emotional.

Explaining to fans that some days stuck indoors are harder than others, the former X Factor star said: ‘Afternoon nap time. Joe’s gone out to get baby milk because we ran out and I’m gonna have to do something because I just feel like I’m on the brink of tears… all the time. I don’t know why I’m laughing.’

Adding captions to the video of her sitting on the sofa holding baby Rex, Stacey said: ‘It’s got to be hormones on the moon. But do you ever have one of those days where you feel like your welling up all the time for NO REASON whatsoever?

‘And then you feel terrible for feeling teary when there are so many people in the world in such awful circumstances, so I have no reason to be teary whatsoever.’

We’re all on the same boat, Stacey

Linda Robson accidentally revealed she saw a friend’s partner having dinner with ‘another lady’.

The Loose Women panellists were discussing blabbing secrets – whether it be with show casting or pregnancy news – and Linda gave a little too much information on a potential affair.

It’s going to be an interesting conversation considering her friend doesn’t know about the situation – yet.

‘There was one really hard thing. I saw a friend of mine’s partner at Hampstead one day having a bite to eat with another lady,’ she began.

‘I didn’t tell her because I thought, “Maybe it’s innocent, maybe they just bumped into each other and they’re just having a cup of coffee.” He saw me looking, so I don’t know if he went home and said, “Oh, I saw Linda today.”‘

Linda continued: ‘But I thought, she hasn’t said… Oh sugar – take that out.’

Linda Robson
Linda couldn’t believe she said it all out loud (Picture: ITV)

The 62-year-old realised her mistake and turned beetroot red before her co-stars Christine Lampard and Stacey Solomon burst out laughing.

Covering her tracks, she panicked and appeared to make up another name: ‘His name’s Gregory, and Gregory didn’t mention this to her…’

The perfect time to reveal a secret is exactly when you’re discussing blabbermouths.

Loose Women returned to our screens earlier this month after the lunchtime favourite was taken off-air and replaced with repeats during the coronavirus lockdown.

For the foreseeable future, just three panellists will be allowed in the studio with another Loose Woman joining in via Zoom.

The X Factor star Janet Devlin has opened up about attempting suicide while in the grips of an addiction to alcohol.

During an emotional appearance on Loose Women on Tuesday, the singer, who found fame on The X Factor in 2011, said that she realised she needed help with her drinking battle after she tried to take her own life.

Janet moved from Northern Ireland to Sheffield when she was 17, and turned to drink as she struggled with her new surroundings.

She explained: ‘At the end of the day you’re on your own in a country where you know nobody.

‘I did turn to alcohol to give me a confidence boost.’

When asked by panellist Jane Moore about the point she realised she had ‘a problem’, Janet said: ‘Probably the failed suicide attempt.’

She went on: ‘I woke up with a bottle of gin under my pillow every day. Before going to work I’d have to get drunk, at night I’d have to get drunk. It went quickly downhill for me.

‘My family didn’t know at the time, most of them were never planned. It was when I had too much to drink and access to sleeping medication.’

Janet also spoke about the affect it had had on her mum, who was ‘always waiting on that phone call to find out that I finally was gone.’

‘I’m so glad every day I’m not causing her that pain,’ she added.

Her road to recovery was not an easy one, as her mum had to fly to England to force her to get help after she ‘went missing’ for days.

‘I tried all sorts of things and nothing was working,’ Janet said.

‘My mum flew over to help me because I’d gone missing for three days again. She walked me to this clinic and somebody slipped me a card for AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) and that’s when I went. My first meeting just changed my life.’

Linda Lusardi revealed she was left alone for hours during her coronavirus battle because nurses were ‘terrified’ to go near her on today’s Loose Women.

The former Emmerdale star almost died form the disease during the early stages of lockdown when both she and her husband Sam Kane were rushed to hospital with the respiratory illness.

Linda, 61, was among the first to be admitted to Intensive Care with Covid-19.

But with little information about coronavirus and understandable concern among hospital staff for their own health and safety, Linda was often alone.

‘We were a very early case in that hospital, in fact I don’t know if we were the only two, but I was in a room on my own and the staff at that time were terrified to come in the room.

‘I was left for four of five hours on my own with people at the window or door saying, “Do you want anything?”’ she told today’s Loose Women panelists Ruth Langsford, Kelle Bryan, Janet Street-Porter, and Linda Robson.

‘I felt really vulnerable and alone and I think the doctor, it was a young doctor, gave me quite negative vibes about whether I was going to make it or not.’

‘Now you’re thinking, “How was I thinking like that?”’

Sam had to be restrained by staff as he ripped off his tubes and tried to run to be by his wife’s side.

Ruth Langsford sobbed while recalling a sweet moment she shared with her son.

Her son Jack walked in on Ruth when she was upset at home recently.

Speaking about being comforted by Jack, she became emotional and was unable to finish speaking.

On Thursday’s episode the panel – Ruth, Nadia Sawalha, Stacey Solomon and Saira Khan – were discussing the benefits of having a good cry.

Ruth shared: ‘I was having a little cry in my kitchen the other day. I thought I was on my own.

‘That’s the thing, because I’m a bit like, “You know you’ve gotta get on with it.”

‘Jack came, and I was standing washing up and I didn’t know he was there, and I was having a good old blub and he called me, and just went “Hi mum”.

‘I turned and he could see I was crying and he literally put his arms…’

Welling up, Ruth let her co-host Nadia Sawalha carry on speaking as she took a moment to dab her eyes.

Nadia said: ‘Sometimes we underestimate how strong our families are.’

Agreeing, Ruth added: ‘And don’t always try and hide it because your kids can cope better than you think.’

She caught Stacey Solomon’s eye and realised she was getting upset too.

Stacey said that all she wanted to do was give Ruth a big hug, but due to social distancing she was unable to.

The This Morning host revealed that her husband Eamonn Holmes has no problem expressing his emotions and is affectionate with his family.

Before the programme went to a break, Ruth joked that she was going to use the adverts to cry again.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.

Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson cancelled shows because she ‘couldn’t bear’ people looking at her: Singer opens up on Loose Women

Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson admitted she used to cancel shows because she was so afraid of people looking at her.

The 28-year-old own huge acclaim for her BBC Three film Odd One Out last year where she bravely opened up about her mental health and going through hell with vicious social media users picking her apart online during the early days of being in a girl group.

The four-piece – also consisting of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – were hurled into the limelight after winning The X Factor in 2011 just as social media was becoming an increasingly hostile environment.

While it was a source of constant pain, it was also addictive and Jesy found herself waking up and checking the worst things people were saying about her on Twitter.

At one point in the documentary, Jesy recalled wanting to take her own life.

And speaking to today’s Loose Women panel – consisting of Ruth Langsford, Stacey Solomon, Saira Khan, and Nadia Sawalha – the singer revealed she often couldn’t face walking out on stage.

‘A lot of the time with performers we go on stage and it’s a character that we play and that’s what I try to do, but a lot of the time I wouldn’t even go on stage,’ she said.

‘There was so many times when I would cancel shows because I couldn’t bear people looking at me.’

Her heroism was rewarded with thousands of viewers thanking Jesy for bringing the horrific plague of trolling to the fore with Odd One Out, and she picked up a National Television Award earlier this year.

But it almost didn’t happen.

‘No one knew about this and that’s why I didn’t speak about it for such a long time because I just kept thinking, “If I keep talking about this, it’s never going to go away.” But what I learned was that by not talking about it made it a lot worse for me.

‘There was a point halfway through filming when I messaged my friend, Adam the director, and I said, “I don’t want to do this anymore.” I was just terrified, I was so scared it would be 10 times worse when it came out.’

Thankfully, she carried on.

‘I think it’s opened up a lot of peoples’ eyes and people are a lot more aware of what [trolling] can do to someone’s mental health.’

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm. Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Stacey Solomon has revealed that she feels ‘upset’ watching her baby son Rex grow up, as she prepares to celebrate his first birthday in lockdown.

The 30-year-old’s youngest son’s birthday falls this weekend, and she admitted that the past year following his birth has ‘flown by’.

Speaking on the panel on today’s edition of Loose Women, she said: ‘It actually really upsets me.

‘Just feels really weird, it still feels like it was only yesterday when I came in here and he was just born.

‘He’s such a ray of sunshine, he’s really lit up our little worlds.’

However, Stacey is determined to make sure that Rex will still have a special day despite the circumstances.

When asked by Ruth Lansgford what she was planning to do for the occasion she responded: ‘Well obviously it’s a shame that we can’t see anyone, but we are gonna enjoy it, and we’ll just celebrate afterwards.

‘He’s only one so he won’t know, but I’m gonna try and make a cake and organise some garden games.’

Stacey had previously admitted that she was too ‘scared’ to leave the house due to the social distancing rules in place.

‘I’m actually scared to go anywhere because I don’t know how to keep the social distancing etiquette,’ she explained.

‘I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting a bit too comfortable in my own home and environment that actually it makes me fear doing out and getting it wrong.’

The TV star continued: ‘It actually makes me nervous. I think sometimes it’s simple – stay two metres away from everybody – but actually it’s not as easy as that.

‘If you’re going down a narrow walk, you think, “Do I go first? Do I pause? Do I walk back?” If everyone’s on the beach, how do you stop children who don’t know what social distancing is?’

Despite her concerns, the mum-of-three has also provided us with plenty of entertainment on social media during the lockdown.

From TikTok dances to hitting back at online trolls, Stacey is a gift that keeps on giving.

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams clash over ‘disturbing’ robotic patrol dogs that stop people breaking lockdown rules

Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams clashed on Friday’s Loose Women over whether robotic patrol dogs should be allowed in the UK to stop people breaking social-distancing guidelines.

Christine Lampard began the discussion as she explained that police in the UK are finding it difficult to monitor social-distancing.

‘Authorities in Singapore have terrifying Robodogs that have been patrolling parks, telling people to stay apart,’ she explained.

Although, it didn’t take Nadia long to weigh in on the discussion as she admitted she was opposed to the idea.

She ranted: ‘I think it’s disturbing. Last year there were these two robots that got their own language going and they had to be turned off.’

And before Nadia could even finish her sentence, Kaye interrupted: ‘Stop it, girls! You’re going loopy here. The only thing that is getting out of the situation is data.

‘This what we have been told, and we need to know what is happening and where.

‘I know it looks a bit spooky but actually I love Robodog. I want more of this kind of technology because we need to get out of this situation, so calm down girls.’

‘If this keeps us safe and reduces the toll of Covid-19 – that’s what matters,’ she added.

Kaye Adams

Nadia replied: ‘I won’t calm down, I hate it. I think we need to be really careful at a time where there is so much fear and panic.

‘I am a great believer in the app, but there is just something about being chased in a park by a robotic dog that I just don’t fancy. I think we need to be careful about where we are going with this.’

The clash comes after Boris Johnson relaxed the coronavirus lockdown to allow people to drive out of their local areas and to go out for as much exercise as they liked.

However, the new rules still say that people cannot meet more than one person from outside of their household at once and they must stay more than two metres apart.

And it’s safe to say Joey, and viewers weren’t expecting it at all.

During the instalment, the panel interviewed the former reality star about all things Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, and they couldn’t help but notice the flashy swimming pool behind him.

Speaking from his Essex home, Joey admitted that he was self-isolating alone and that he ‘hated it’.

Although before we knew it, things during the interview took a turn when Kaye Adams asked: ‘Can you swim Joey?’

‘I’m a good swimmer, not far swimming but I can do Butterfly and all that,’ he replied.

Loose Women star Saira Khan wants her spot on the panel to go to a gay, transgender or non-binary star after she quit the programme.

Saira announced on Saturday that she is leaving the ITV show after five years.

The 50-year-old feels she is ‘graduating from the University of Loose’ and now wants to ‘pursue degrees in other life experiences’.

Sharing her decision on Instagram, the TV star added her hope that she is replaced by someone who ‘will help the show to be more reflective of the world we live in.’

In a message to her followers the mum-of-two said: ‘I will miss the great women who have become my very close friends. I feel honoured and privileged to have sat alongside them and learnt from them.

‘I leave the show feeling I’ve dealt with the baggage and now can enjoy moving forward to grow and enjoy new life opportunities, which includes growing my skincare business @sairaskinuk and exploring other Media projects.

‘I’d love my @loosewomen seat to be given to either a gay, transgender or non binary person – that will help the show to be more reflective of the world we live in. That’s what I would do if I was in charge.’

Saira added that she is making a clean break and will not be returning to the show for a send off episode as ‘I don’t like formal goodbyes’.

She concluded: ‘@loosewomen it was an honour and a privilege to be part of this iconic show of strong, talented, feisty, honest, opinionated , caring, loving women. Thanks for the opportunities and everlasting friendship and memories.

‘Thank you to the amazing audience who have watched and supported me, and now follow me here. You have given me so much love and self confidence, more than you will ever know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve helped shape me, to become the woman I want to be, moving forward.’

Saira, who was runner-up on The Apprentice in 2005, became a regular Loose Women panellist in 2015.

Her departure comes after anchor Andrea McLean quit the daytime programme in November after 13 years.

Loose Women’s Brenda Edwards slams viewers who want Grease banned for being ‘homophobic’

Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards has weighed in on the debate over whether the film Grease should be banned on TV after some viewers branded it ‘racist’ and ‘homophobic’.

The 1970s musical, which stars John Travolta as Danny and Olivia Newton-John as Sandy was shown on Boxing Day on BBC One.

However, in light of the Black Lives Matter movement and LGBTQ+ rights, lots of viewers felt the love story was out of date and shouldn’t be shown on TV.

Some even branded the iconic film ‘homophobic’ when referring to the homecoming dance scene.

During the segment, host Vince Fontaine (Edd Byrnes) flirts with teenage student Marty (Dinah Manoff) as he also explains to her that no same-sex couples were allowed on the dance floor.

Other viewers thought the scene where Danny and Sandy go to a drive-in movie was ‘rapey’ after Danny ‘makes a move’ on Sandy.

Some also felt the movie was ‘racist’ for not featuring many black people.

Speaking about the hit musical on Monday’s show, the Loose Women panel discussed whether the film should be banned from airing on TV.

‘It’s nonsense to be quite perfectly honest,’ Brenda raged.

‘Everybody’s complaining about this on the tele and it’s not based on true facts. It’s light-hearted, let’s have some fun, let’s sing and dance around our front rooms.

‘When that came out I never looked at it to think it was this, that or the other. I just looked at it for what it was, great entertainment.’

‘If you don’t like it, switch off,’ she added. You don’t have to watch it, it’s pathetic.’

‘I just think get over yourselves,’ Linda Robson chipped in.

‘It’s just entertainment and we all loved watching Grease. I have watched it so many times and I never thought about any of those things.

‘It was set in the 50s and so those things were acceptable in those days.’
